WHY NO HOMEWORK?
I've always thought that sending homework home with my students was helping them (and me as their teacher) to reinforce topics we've learned in the classroom. Also, studies show there is a severe lack of time available to spend as a family. Due to busy schedules with working parents and school-aged children, the average family spends
2.5 hours per day together.
And 40 minutes of homework is almost 1/3 of "family time" being spent on homework.
